The French dance company "Cie Bittersweet" is invited at "The Dance Center Luzern" since 25 April for a three-week creative residency of their latest production.
"Jamais je n'oublie, Chapitre II" wich deals with the sensitive topic of memory loss.
What happens to memories? How does their loss affect identity and everyday life? What remains once memories have disappeared?
The observations from numerous encounters with people suffering from Alzheimer's sharpened the eye of the choreographer, Perle Cayron, also for the social environment of the patients. With humanity and frankness, she gives a voice to those affected and their often forgotten caregivers.
A presentation of the work will be open to the public in the studio on 14th May at 5pm.
